Is Spring here yet?

Happy New Year to all of our patrons. The snow is just now flying and so are the books. We are sure there is one for you.

Some big news for all our electronics users, the Trenton Public Library is now able to offer ebook and electronic media with Nebraska Library Commission's Overdrive website. Find library books for your electronic devices and computers. You will need to come to the library and get a card with your access number on it. The card will cost $2.50 per year to help us cover the subscription costs but Overdrive has audio as well as text media and their collection is expanding daily.

Also we would like to announce the addition of another new computer from the Nebraska Library Commission and the Gates Foundation. If you or anyone is in need of Internet access or aid in using or learning how to use the computer or programs come down to the library. We can arrange training on a wide variety of topics and aid in any particular projects you may have. We might even be able to acquire special software programs for special projects.

Don't forget the libraries expanding science fiction and DVD collection.

1 PM - 5 PM

Thursday
2 PM - 7 PM

Saturday
9 AM - 2 PM

We have free internet access and WiFi for those of you who want to use your own laptops. There is also scanning, printing, copying and faxing services available. We are even able to read those various memory cards from cameras and phones.

The library offers a room for reading, working a puzzle, playing cards or board games. We are always trying to get a good game going, if you have a favorite and want to play, bring a friend and enjoy.

We even have a few games available on our computers that do not have internet access and we are going to get more, so you will have to stop in from time to time to see what we have. Here is a list of games currently available

Room to read a magazine or do your homework, the library is a comfortable place to come and spend a few hours away from the noise and pressure at work, school or home.

And the library has a wide selection of children's and young adult books to choose from and room for the young reader to lounge and explore the wonders of reading and the realms that imagination invite.
